How to set up and run Mimos

Help center for Mimos — set up your salon, services, team, booking page, messages and deposits.

  • What can I do with Mimos? — Welcome! This is the short path from a new account to taking bookings online. When you first sign up, a setup guide walks you through the essentials…
  • Install Mimos on your phone — Mimos works in any browser, but most groomers end up running the day from the phone app.
  • Your business settings — Every setting lives under Settings in the sidebar, organized into groups. Only managers can change them.
  • Add your location and hours — You'll find all of this under Settings → Locations (manager-only).
  • Create a service — Services are what customers book — a bath, a full groom, a nail trim. Each has a price and a duration.
  • Invite someone to the team — Add groomers and office staff so they can sign in, and make groomers bookable so customers can choose them.
  • Turn on your booking page — Your booking page is the public page where customers book online. You control how it looks, what it shows, and when it goes live.
  • Set up your automatic messages — Keep customers informed automatically — booking confirmations, "your pet is ready" texts, reminders, and review requests…
  • What audiences are — An audience is the group of customers a campaign is sent to, or the filter you apply to a report.
  • Create a custom audience — Create a custom audience when the predefined ones don't fit what you want to filter — for example…
  • Create your first campaign — A campaign sends a message to an audience over a channel (SMS, email or WhatsApp), with a schedule and a template.
  • Schedule when a campaign goes out — A trigger is a campaign that sends automatically when a customer event happens — for example…
  • Review how a campaign performed — After a campaign sends, review the results from Marketing > Campaigns to see what worked and what to tune next time.
  • A client's marketing preferences — Each customer can decide whether they want to receive marketing messages from you and, if they do, which types (SMS, email, WhatsApp).
  • Take a booking deposit — You'll find this under Settings → Payments (manager-only).
