A campaign sends a message to an audience over a channel (SMS, email or WhatsApp), with a schedule and a template. Before creating one, make sure you have your audience and template ready.
Before you start
- Audience: the customers the campaign targets. See What audiences are if you need a refresher on the concept.
- Template: the message wording. You can reuse an existing template or create one on the fly from inside the campaign.
- Channel: SMS, email or WhatsApp. WhatsApp requires your number to be connected under Settings.
Create a campaign
- Open Marketing > Campaigns and click New campaign.
- Give it an internal name and, optionally, a description that reminds you of the goal.
- Pick the target audience.
- Pick the channel and the template.
- Set the schedule: when it sends (date and time) and, if needed, how often it repeats.
- Click Save and review to see the summary before activating, or Schedule directly.
Good to know
- Frequency cap: Mimos limits how many marketing messages a single customer can receive in a week. If your audience would exceed it, some customers are skipped.
- Campaigns don't send to customers without marketing consent. Consent is managed on their profile — see Edit a client or pet.
- While the campaign is in draft status, nothing goes out. It only sends once it moves to scheduled or running.
